If I woke up one day and could no longer speak, I would feel very sad. There are many things in my heart that I have not yet said—deep feelings and dreams I wish to share. Losing my voice would make life harder, especially when trying to communicate, express my needs, or connect with others. Simple things like asking for help, sharing a joke, or expressing love would become difficult. It would also be hard for the people around me. They would have to adjust and find new ways to understand me. I might feel frustrated and lonely at times. But I would try to find other ways to express myself, like writing, using gestures, or learning sign language.
